A way to uninstall Claude from your PC

Claude is a Windows application. Read more about how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was developed by Anthropic PBC. Further information on Anthropic PBC can be found here. The application is frequently found in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\AnthropicClaude directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing Claude is C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\AnthropicClaude\Update.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for administrator rights. claude.exe is the Claude's primary executable file and it occupies approximately 354.60 KB (363112 bytes) on disk.

Claude is composed of the following executables which take 369.66 MB (387617904 bytes) on disk:

A way to erase Claude using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Claude is a program offered by Anthropic PBC. Sometimes, people decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK manner to uninstall Claude is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around tool to maximize the performance of your PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Claude or simply click the Search field and type in "Claude". If it exists on your system the Claude program will be found automatically. After you select Claude in the list , the following data regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Claude, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Claude.


8. After uninstalling Claude, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Claude that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Claude using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
