How to uninstall Citavi from your PC

Citavi is a Windows program. How to remove Citavi from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Citavi is a program by Swiss Academic Software. Some people try to remove this program. This is hard because removing this by hand requires some skill related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK manner to remove Citavi is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Citavi or simply click the Search feature and type in "Citavi". If it is installed on your PC the Citavi program will be found very quickly. When you select Citavi in the list of apps, some data about the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Citavi, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Citavi.

8. After uninstalling Citavi, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Citavi that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Citavi using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
