How to uninstall Citavi from your computer

How to delete Citavi using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Citavi is an application marketed by the software company Swiss Academic Software. Sometimes, people want to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be difficult because doing this by hand requires some experience related to PCs. The best EASY approach to uninstall Citavi is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Citavi or simply click the Search field and type in "Citavi". If it is installed on your PC the Citavi application will be found automatically. After you click Citavi in the list of apps, some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Citavi, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Citavi:

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Citavi.


8. After uninstalling Citavi, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Citavi that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Citavi using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
