How to uninstall Chrome from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chrome is an application released by the software company Google LLC. Sometimes, people try to remove it. This is efortful because doing this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to remove Chrome is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Chrome or simply click the Search field and type in "Chrome". If it exists on your system the Chrome program will be found automatically. When you click Chrome in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Chrome, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Chrome.

8. After removing Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Chrome that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
