A guide to uninstall Chrome from your system

Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Chrome's main file takes around 2.99 MB (3133720 bytes) and its name is chrome.exe.

How to remove Chrome from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Chrome is a program marketed by the software company Google LLC. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall this program. 3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Chrome or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Chrome". If it is installed on your PC the Chrome app will be found automatically. After you select Chrome in the list of apps, the following information about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Chrome, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Chrome.

8. After uninstalling Chrome, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Chrome which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Chrome with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
