How to uninstall CCleaner from your computer

CCleaner is a Windows application. Read below about how to uninstall it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by Piriform Ltd.. Further information on Piriform Ltd. can be seen here. Usually the CCleaner application is to be found in the C:\Program Files\CCleaner folder, depending on the user's option during install. The full command line for removing CCleaner is C:\Program Files\CCleaner\Uninstall.exe. How to erase CCleaner using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CCleaner is an application by Piriform Ltd.. Some people decide to erase it. This can be easier said than done because removing this manually requires some know-how regarding PCs. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase CCleaner is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your computer.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on your PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate CCleaner or simply activate the Search field and type in "CCleaner". The CCleaner application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select CCleaner in the list , the following data about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about CCleaner, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove CCleaner.


8. After removing CCleaner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of CCleaner that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing CCleaner using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
