How to uninstall Brave from your computer

This page contains detailed information on how to remove Brave for Windows. It is developed by Les auteurs de Brave. More info about Les auteurs de Brave can be read here. Brave is normally set up in the C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application folder, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's choice while installing the program. You can remove Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\136.1.78.102\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Brave's main file takes around 2.87 MB (3014160 bytes) and is called brave.exe.

How to delete Brave with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program offered by the software company Les auteurs de Brave. Some users try to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because doing this manually takes some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE solution to uninstall Brave is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows system.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Brave or simply activate the Search field and type in "Brave". If it exists on your system the Brave app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Brave in the list , some information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about Brave, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Brave.


8. After uninstalling Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Brave that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
