A guide to uninstall Brave from your computer

Brave is a software application. This page is comprised of details on how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows release was developed by Les auteurs de Brave. You can read more on Les auteurs de Brave or check for application updates here. Brave is usually installed in the C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application folder, however this location may vary a lot depending on the user's option while installing the application. You can uninstall Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\120.1.61.101\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. brave.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 2.63 MB (2759192 bytes) on disk.

A way to uninstall Brave using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program released by the software company Les auteurs de Brave. Sometimes, computer users choose to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this manually takes some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY action to uninstall Brave is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Brave or simply click the Search field and type in "Brave". If it is installed on your PC the Brave app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select Brave in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Brave, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the application you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Brave.


8. After uninstalling Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Brave which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing Brave using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
