A guide to uninstall Brave from your computer

This page contains detailed information on how to remove Brave for Windows. The Windows release was created by Die Brave-Autoren. More information on Die Brave-Autoren can be seen here. Brave is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application directory, however this location can differ a lot depending on the user's option when installing the application. You can remove Brave by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files (x86)\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\84.1.11.104\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. The program's main executable file is named brave.exe and it has a size of 2.02 MB (2120872 bytes).

How to erase Brave from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Brave is a program by Die Brave-Autoren. Sometimes, users want to erase it. Sometimes this is hard because deleting this manually requires some know-how regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY way to erase Brave is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Brave or simply click the Search feature and type in "Brave". If it exists on your system the Brave app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click Brave in the list of programs, some information about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Brave, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Brave.


8. After uninstalling Brave, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Brave that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Brave using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
