How to uninstall XnView from your system

A way to erase XnView from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

XnView is a program released by the software company RePack by Andreyonohov. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall it. Sometimes this is easier said than done because removing this manually takes some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate XnView or simply click the Search feature and type in "XnView". If it is installed on your PC the XnView application will be found automatically. After you select XnView in the list of applications, some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about XnView, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for XnView:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\XnView\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove XnView.


8. After removing XnView, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong XnView that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
