How to uninstall Xactimate from your PC

You can find on this page details on how to remove Xactimate for Windows. It was developed for Windows by Xactware. More information about Xactware can be seen here. Xactimate is normally installed in the C:\Program Files\Xactware\XactimateDesktop directory, however this location can vary a lot depending on the user's choice while installing the application. You can uninstall Xactimate by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /I{217CD114-E6F5-4163-B9B7-5D4B73858006}. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for administrator rights. The program's main executable file occupies 3.22 MB (3377264 bytes) on disk and is called X.exe.

How to erase Xactimate from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Xactimate is a program marketed by Xactware. Some computer users choose to uninstall this program. This is difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows program uninstallation. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall Xactimate is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Xactimate or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Xactimate". If it is installed on your PC the Xactimate app will be found very quickly. When you select Xactimate in the list of programs, some information regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding Xactimate, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Xactimate.


8. After removing Xactimate, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of Xactimate that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Xactimate using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
