A way to uninstall UpAgent from your PC

How to uninstall UpAgent from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

UpAgent is an application released by Derive Systems. Frequently, users decide to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best QUICK action to uninstall UpAgent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows system.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find UpAgent or simply activate the Search field and type in "UpAgent". If it is installed on your PC the UpAgent application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select UpAgent in the list of programs, the following data regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding UpAgent, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall UpAgent.

8. After uninstalling UpAgent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong UpAgent that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling UpAgent using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
