How to remove Touchpad using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Touchpad is an application released by Synaptics Incorporated. Sometimes, users try to uninstall it. Sometimes this is efortful because uninstalling this manually requires some advanced knowledge regarding removing Windows programs manually. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall Touchpad is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows PC.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Touchpad or simply click the Search field and type in "Touchpad". If it exists on your system the Touchpad application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Touchpad in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding Touchpad, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Touchpad:

• The publisher is: www.synaptics.com
• The uninstall string is: rundll32.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Touchpad.


8. After removing Touchpad, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Touchpad that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Touchpad using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
