A way to uninstall SquareTrace from your system

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Some of these are shown below.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall SquareTrace:

• C:\Program Files\SquareTrace

The files below are left behind on your disk by SquareTrace's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Local Storage\https_api.squaretrace.info_0.localstorage
• C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\https_api.squaretrace.info_0.localstorage
• C:\Program Files\SquareTrace\bin\7za.exe
• C:\Program Files\SquareTrace\bin\8c38c957e0ea4c3c9c31.dll

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{A2D733A7-73B0-4C6B-B0C7-06A432950B66}
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\SquareTrace
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SquareTrace

Additional registry values that you should delete:

A way to delete SquareTrace using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

SquareTrace is a program offered by the software company SquareTrace. Some people decide to erase it. This is troublesome because doing this manually requires some experience regarding removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best SIMPLE procedure to erase SquareTrace is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find SquareTrace or simply click the Search field and type in "SquareTrace". If it is installed on your PC the SquareTrace app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click SquareTrace in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding SquareTrace, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for SquareTrace:

• The software company is: http://squaretrace.info/support
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\SquareTrace\SquareTraceuninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall SquareTrace.


8. After removing SquareTrace, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong SquareTrace that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling SquareTrace using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
