A way to uninstall Spark from your computer

Spark is a computer program. This page holds details on how to remove it from your PC. It is written by Baidu, Inc.. You can find out more on Baidu, Inc. or check for application updates here. Further information about Spark can be found at http://br.browser.baidu.com. Spark is typically set up in the C:\Program Files\baidu\Spark folder, but this location may differ a lot depending on the user's decision when installing the application. You can uninstall Spark by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\baidu\Spark\Uninstall.exe. Keep in mind that you might be prompted for admin rights. Spark's primary file takes about 1.40 MB (1465024 bytes) and is named Spark.exe.

If you are manually uninstalling Spark we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories left on disk:

• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Baidu Spark Browser
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spark
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Baidu\Spark
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\IDM\DwnlData\UserName\Spark_MiniDownloader_5

The files below were left behind on your disk when you remove Spark:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spark\bt\bt_setting
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spark\bt\Incomplete\tasklist
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Spark\bt\spark_bt.log

Registry that is not removed:

How to delete Spark from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Spark is an application released by Baidu, Inc.. Some users choose to uninstall this program. Sometimes this can be hard because removing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding removing Windows applications by hand. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Spark or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Spark". If it exists on your system the Spark application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select Spark in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Spark, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Spark:

• The web site of the program is: http://br.browser.baidu.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\baidu\Spark\Uninstall.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Spark.


8. After uninstalling Spark, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Spark which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Spark with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
