A way to uninstall Scribe from your system

You can find on this page details on how to remove Scribe for Windows. It was coded for Windows by Memecode. More information on Memecode can be seen here. Further information about Scribe can be seen at http://www.memecode.com/. Scribe is usually set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe folder, regulated by the user's decision. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\uninstUserNamel.exe" is the full command line if you want to remove Scribe. Scribe's primary file takes around 3.52 MB (3692544 bytes) and is called Scribe.exe.

The following executable files are incorporated in Scribe. They occupy 3.56 MB (3737113 bytes) on disk.

After the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Directories that were found:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe

The files below were left behind on your disk by Scribe when you uninstall it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\Aspell\aspell-languages.csv
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\Aspell\data\cp1250.cmap
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\Aspell\data\cp1250.cset
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\Aspell\data\cp1251.cmap

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Scribe.CUserNameendar
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Scribe.Contact
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Scribe.Email
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Scribe.Folder

Open regedit.exe to delete the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\LocUserName Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\Scribe.exe.ApplicationCompany

How to erase Scribe from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Scribe is a program marketed by the software company Memecode. Sometimes, people try to remove this application. Sometimes this is hard because removing this manually requires some knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE solution to remove Scribe is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general utility to clean your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find Scribe or simply activate the Search field and type in "Scribe". If it is installed on your PC the Scribe program will be found very quickly. When you click Scribe in the list of applications, some information about the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Scribe, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for Scribe:

• The web site of the program is: http://www.memecode.com/
• The uninstall string is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Memecode\Scribe\uninstUserNamel.exe"

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Scribe.


8. After removing Scribe, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Scribe which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling Scribe using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
