Some files and registry entries are usually left behind when you remove ScanPapyrus.

Folders left behind when you uninstall ScanPapyrus:

• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ScanPapyrus
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\BlackParrot\ScanPapyrus

Generally, the following files are left on disk:

• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ScanPapyrus\ScanPapyrus.lnk
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ScanPapyrus\Uninstall.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\BlackParrot\ScanPapyrus\Current\00000001_o.jpg

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.scppy
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ScanPapyrus
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BlackParrot\ScanPapyrus
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{D243A198-99BB-42A0-828E-98AE3F01D215}_is1

Open regedit.exe in order to remove the following values:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ScanPapyrus\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ScanPapyrus\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{D243A198-99BB-42A0-828E-98AE3F01D215}_is1\DisplayIcon
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{D243A198-99BB-42A0-828E-98AE3F01D215}_is1\Inno Setup: App Path

How to erase ScanPapyrus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ScanPapyrus is an application released by BlackParrot Software. Frequently, people try to remove this application. This is troublesome because uninstalling this manually takes some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best EASY procedure to remove ScanPapyrus is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to maximize the performance of your PC.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find ScanPapyrus or simply activate the Search field and type in "ScanPapyrus". If it is installed on your PC the ScanPapyrus program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click ScanPapyrus in the list of programs, the following data about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about ScanPapyrus, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for ScanPapyrus:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\ScanPapyrus\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall ScanPapyrus.


8. After removing ScanPapyrus, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items of ScanPapyrus which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing ScanPapyrus with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
