A guide to uninstall QuickBooks from your PC

QuickBooks is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by Intuit Canada ULC. Further information on Intuit Canada ULC can be found here. More information about QuickBooks can be seen at . QuickBooks is typically set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks 2017 folder, however this location can vary a lot depending on the user's decision while installing the application. The full command line for removing QuickBooks is MsiExec.exe /I{B52E01F1-D34E-4381-B590-28DFF3C0B647}. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. QBW32Pro.exe is the QuickBooks's main executable file and it takes around 780.17 KB (798896 bytes) on disk.

A way to remove QuickBooks with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

QuickBooks is an application marketed by Intuit Canada ULC. Some users choose to uninstall this program. This is difficult because uninstalling this by hand takes some experience related to PCs. One of the best SIMPLE solution to uninstall QuickBooks is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your Windows computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs existing on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find QuickBooks or simply click the Search feature and type in "QuickBooks". The QuickBooks application will be found automatically. Notice that when you select QuickBooks in the list of apps, some data about the application is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about QuickBooks, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{B52E01F1-D34E-4381-B590-28DFF3C0B647}
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove QuickBooks.

8. After uninstalling QuickBooks, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of QuickBooks that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling QuickBooks using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
