If you are manually uninstalling PureVPN we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories that were left behind:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\PureVPN
  • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\PureVPN
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\purevpn

The files below were left behind on your disk by PureVPN when you uninstall it:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\PureVPN\bin\libeay32.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\PureVPN\bin\liblzo2-2.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\PureVPN\bin\libpkcs11-helper-1.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\PureVPN\bin\libssl32.dll

Registry that is not removed:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\purevpn_RASAPI32

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:

A way to erase PureVPN using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

PureVPN is an application offered by the software company PureVPN. Frequently, computer users decide to uninstall it. 6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate PureVPN or simply activate the Search feature and type in "PureVPN". The PureVPN application will be found very quickly. After you select PureVPN in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding PureVPN, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall PureVPN.

8. After uninstalling PureVPN, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong PureVPN which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
