A way to remove Proximity from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Proximity is an application released by Cisco Systems, Inc.. Frequently, people want to erase it. Sometimes this is troublesome because deleting this manually takes some know-how related to Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows computer.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Proximity or simply click the Search feature and type in "Proximity". The Proximity app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select Proximity in the list of applications, some data about the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about Proximity, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Proximity.

8. After uninstalling Proximity, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong Proximity that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Proximity using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
