How to uninstall Proximity from your computer

A way to erase Proximity from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Proximity is a program released by the software company Cisco Systems, Inc.. Some computer users want to erase this application. This can be easier said than done because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is one of the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your computer.

• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Proximity or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Proximity". If it exists on your system the Proximity program will be found very quickly. When you click Proximity in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Proximity, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the app you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Proximity.


8. After removing Proximity, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Proximity which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
