How to remove ProShield using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

ProShield is an application by Egis Technology Inc.. Some people want to remove this program. Sometimes this is efortful because uninstalling this by hand takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK procedure to remove ProShield is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to clean your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful program.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the programs existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find ProShield or simply activate the Search feature and type in "ProShield". The ProShield program will be found very quickly. After you select ProShield in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about ProShield, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for ProShield:

• The publisher is: http://www.egistec.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information\{08CCD7B4-9EED-4926-805D-C4FFF869989A}\setup.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove ProShield.


8. After uninstalling ProShield, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong ProShield that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling ProShield using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.
