A way to remove Positron from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Positron is a program marketed by Posit Software, PBC. Sometimes, users decide to remove it. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Positron or simply click the Search feature and type in "Positron". The Positron app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Positron in the list of programs, the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about Positron, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Positron:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Positron\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Positron.


8. After removing Positron, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Positron that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Positron using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
