How to delete Positron with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Positron is an application by the software company Posit Software, PBC. Some users decide to uninstall it. This is hard because doing this by hand takes some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE solution to uninstall Positron is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:

3. Press the General Tools category

5. All the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Positron or simply click the Search feature and type in "Positron". If it exists on your system the Positron app will be found very quickly. After you select Positron in the list of applications, the following information regarding the application is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Positron, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Positron.


8. After uninstalling Positron, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong Positron which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
