How to uninstall Parsec from your PC

Parsec is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. The Windows version was created by Parsec Cloud Inc.. Additional info about Parsec Cloud Inc. can be seen here. Further information about Parsec can be found at . The application is usually found in the C:\Program Files\Parsec directory (same installation drive as Windows). The full command line for removing Parsec is C:\Program Files\Parsec\uninstall.exe. Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for administrator rights. parsecd.exe is the programs's main file and it takes approximately 422.19 KB (432320 bytes) on disk.

The following executable files are incorporated in Parsec. They take 1.56 MB (1634676 bytes) on disk.

How to uninstall Parsec using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Parsec is an application offered by Parsec Cloud Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to erase it. Sometimes this can be difficult because deleting this by hand requires some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE practice to erase Parsec is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your computer.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the programs existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Parsec or simply click the Search field and type in "Parsec". The Parsec application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Parsec in the list of applications, some information about the program is shown to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about Parsec, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The web site of the application is: https://parsec.app
  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\Parsec\uninstall.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Parsec.

8. After uninstalling Parsec, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Parsec that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Parsec with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
