Some files and registry entries are typically left behind when you remove Norton 360.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall Norton 360:

A way to delete Norton 360 from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Norton 360 is a program marketed by the software company Symantec Corporation. Sometimes, people try to uninstall this application. This is troublesome because doing this manually requires some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best SIMPLE practice to uninstall Norton 360 is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to clean your system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire the program's interface and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your computer will appear

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Norton 360 or simply click the Search field and type in "Norton 360". The Norton 360 app will be found very quickly. When you select Norton 360 in the list , some information regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Norton 360, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Norton 360:

• The publisher is: http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\NortonInstaller\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\N360\562C4DD5\21.0.1.3\InstStub.exe

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove Norton 360.


8. After removing Norton 360, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong Norton 360 which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Norton 360 using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your system.
