How to uninstall Nexus® from your system

How to remove Nexus® from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Nexus® is a program by Support.com, Inc.. Sometimes, people choose to uninstall this application. This is efortful because performing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall Nexus® is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature

5. A list of the programs existing on the PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Nexus® or simply click the Search field and type in "Nexus®". The Nexus® program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Nexus® in the list of applications, some data regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding Nexus®, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files\supportdotcom\rang\uninst.exe
7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Nexus®.

8. After uninstalling Nexus®, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Nexus® that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Nexus® using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to serve you properly.
