A guide to uninstall Nexus® from your computer

Nexus® is a Windows program. Read below about how to uninstall it from your PC. It was coded for Windows by Support.com, Inc.. More information on Support.com, Inc. can be seen here. More information about the application Nexus® can be found at . The program is frequently found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\supportdotcom\rang folder (same installation drive as Windows). Nexus®'s complete uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\supportdotcom\rang\uninst.exe. ssrangsv.exe is the Nexus®'s main executable file and it occupies approximately 1.02 MB (1065520 bytes) on disk.

Nexus® is comprised of the following executables which occupy 1.60 MB (1681704 bytes) on disk:

  • ssrangsv.exe (1.02 MB)
  • ssrangui.exe (557.05 KB)
  • uninst.exe (44.70 KB)

How to delete Nexus® from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Nexus® is an application marketed by the software company Support.com, Inc.. Frequently, users want to uninstall this application. This can be troublesome because deleting this manually requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK practice to uninstall Nexus® is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around tool to take care of your system.

  • download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate Nexus® or simply activate the Search feature and type in "Nexus®". The Nexus® application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Nexus® in the list of apps, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have regarding Nexus®, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

  • The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\supportdotcom\rang\uninst.exe
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Nexus®.

8. After uninstalling Nexus®, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Nexus® that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing Nexus® with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
