MinerGate is a software application. Following the uninstall process, the application leaves some files behind on the PC. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Folders that were left behind:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\minergate

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall MinerGate:

• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\minergate\appId.txt
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\minergate\log\minergate.log
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\minergate\miners.ini
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\minergate\pools.config
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Cortana_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\AppIconCache\100\D__UserName_Programs_MinerGate_minergate_exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MinerGate
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Minergate Inc

Additional values that you should clean:

A way to remove MinerGate from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MinerGate is an application marketed by the software company Minergate Inc. Sometimes, people try to remove this program. 6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate MinerGate or simply click the Search field and type in "MinerGate". The MinerGate application will be found automatically. After you click MinerGate in the list of programs, the following information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding MinerGate, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the program you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove MinerGate.


8. After removing MinerGate, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong MinerGate which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling MinerGate using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.
