Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MediaPortal extension
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MediaPortal

Open regedit.exe to remove the values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MediaPortal extension project\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MediaPortal extension project\shell\edit\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MediaPortal extension project\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MediaPortal extension\DefaultIcon\

A way to remove MediaPortal with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

MediaPortal is an application by the software company Team MediaPortal. Frequently, people want to uninstall it. Notice that when you select MediaPortal in the list of applications, the following data regarding the program is available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding MediaPortal, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall MediaPortal.


8. After uninstalling MediaPortal, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong MediaPortal that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing MediaPortal with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
