How to uninstall Linphone from your PC

A way to uninstall Linphone from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Linphone is an application released by the software company Belledonne Communications. Some people try to uninstall it. This is easier said than done because performing this manually requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall Linphone is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your system.

• download the setup by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. A list of the programs installed on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Linphone or simply click the Search field and type in "Linphone". If it is installed on your PC the Linphone app will be found very quickly. After you select Linphone in the list , some data about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about Linphone, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for Linphone:

• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Linphone\Uninstall.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Linphone.


8. After removing Linphone, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Linphone which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
