How to uninstall Google Earth from your system

Google Earth is a Windows application. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by Google Earth. Go over here for more information on Google Earth. Usually the Google Earth application is installed in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application directory, depending on the user's option during setup. Google Earth's entire uninstall command line is C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe. msedge_proxy.exe is the Google Earth's primary executable file and it takes about 733.89 KB (751504 bytes) on disk.

The following executable files are incorporated in Google Earth. They take 12.76 MB (13377000 bytes) on disk.

  • pwahelper.exe (732.88 KB)

Following the uninstall process, the application leaves leftovers on the computer. Part_A few of these are listed below.

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall Google Earth:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Web Applications\_crx__lkiefnfnklnpallaafplghhgjcgnjoig\Google Earth.ico
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Google Earth.lnk

Registry that is not uninstalled:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\da981e121fce286237bc3c030ee28c0d

Additional registry values that you should clean:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe.ApplicationCompany

A way to remove Google Earth from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Google Earth or simply click the Search field and type in "Google Earth". If it exists on your system the Google Earth app will be found automatically. After you click Google Earth in the list , some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Google Earth, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Google Earth.
