A guide to uninstall Google Chrome from your PC

Google Chrome is a Windows program. Read more about how to remove it from your PC. The Windows release was developed by Google LLC. More data about Google LLC can be read here. Usually the Google Chrome application is installed in the C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application directory, depending on the user's option during install. You can remove Google Chrome by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\97.0.4692.99\Installer\setup.exe. Note that you might receive a notification for administrator rights. The application's main executable file occupies 2.39 MB (2503512 bytes) on disk and is labeled chrome.exe.

A way to uninstall Google Chrome from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Google Chrome or simply click the Search field and type in "Google Chrome". If it exists on your system the Google Chrome program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Google Chrome in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Google Chrome, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Google Chrome.
