A way to uninstall Google Chrome from your PC

Google Chrome is a computer program. If you are manually uninstalling Google Chrome we suggest you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Google Chrome from your PC:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome
  • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Google Chrome
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall Google Chrome:
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\46.0.2490.86\46.0.2490.86.manifest
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\46.0.2490.86\chrome.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\46.0.2490.86\chrome_100_percent.pak
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\46.0.2490.86\chrome_200_percent.pak

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the keys below:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.htm
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mfp
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.shtml
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.spop

Registry values that are not removed from your PC:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ChromeHTML\DefaultIcon\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ChromeHTML\shell\open\command\

How to delete Google Chrome from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.
