A way to delete GIMP from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

GIMP is a program marketed by The GIMP Team. Sometimes, computer users want to remove this program.   • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of utilities.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate GIMP or simply activate the Search feature and type in "GIMP". If it is installed on your PC the GIMP application will be found very quickly. After you select GIMP in the list of apps, the following information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding GIMP, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove GIMP.

8. After uninstalling GIMP, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong GIMP that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling GIMP using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
