A way to delete FindIt from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FindIt is a program by NIST. Some computer users want to remove this program. 3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will appear

6. Scroll the list of programs until you find FindIt or simply activate the Search feature and type in "FindIt". If it is installed on your PC the FindIt app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select FindIt in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding FindIt, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove FindIt.


8. After uninstalling FindIt, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong FindIt which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling FindIt using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
