A way to uninstall FindIt from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO
FindIt is an application released by the software company NIST. Sometimes, computer users try to remove this application. This is efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some experience related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE approach to remove FindIt is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:
1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows PC.

- download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
- set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.
3. Press the General Tools button

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the programs existing on the computer will be made available to you
6. Scroll the list of programs until you locate FindIt or simply click the Search feature and type in "FindIt". If it is installed on your PC the FindIt program will be found automatically. After you click FindIt in the list of programs, some data regarding the application is made available to you:
- Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding FindIt, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
- Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
- Details regarding the application you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall FindIt.

8. After removing FindIt, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong FindIt which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them.
