How to uninstall FileAudit from your computer

FileAudit is a computer program. Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may get a notification for admin rights. FileAudit's main file takes around 1.24 MB (1301888 bytes) and is called FileAuditMetro.exe.

FileAudit is composed of the following executables which occupy 2.27 MB (2375888 bytes) on disk:

  • FileAuditAgent.exe (395.56 KB)

How to uninstall FileAudit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

FileAudit is a program released by the software company IS Decisions. Some users try to erase it. Sometimes this is hard because performing this by hand requires some experience regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK way to erase FileAudit is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • visit Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate FileAudit or simply click the Search field and type in "FileAudit". If it is installed on your PC the FileAudit program will be found very quickly. When you select FileAudit in the list of applications, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding FileAudit, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you are about to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove FileAudit.

8. After removing FileAudit, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of FileAudit which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling FileAudit using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to take on new tasks.
