Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\Docker Desktop Installer_RASMANCS

Use regedit.exe to delete the following additional values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\frontend\Docker Desktop.exe.ApplicationCompany
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\frontend\Docker Desktop.exe.FriendlyAppName


A way to delete Docker Desktop from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Docker Desktop is a program marketed by the software company Docker Inc.. Sometimes, computer users choose to erase it. 2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to admire the program's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Press the General Tools button

  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Docker Desktop, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. accept the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove Docker Desktop.

8. After uninstalling Docker Desktop, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Docker Desktop which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Docker Desktop with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
