Quite a few files, folders and registry data can not be deleted when you are trying to remove Dashlane from your computer.

Folders found on disk after you uninstall Dashlane from your computer:

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be cleaned; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dashlane
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dashlane
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Dashlane

Open regedit.exe to remove the registry values below from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\dashlane\shell\open\command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Dashlane\Dashlane.exe

• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Dashlane\DisplayName

How to remove Dashlane from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Dashlane is a program marketed by the software company Dashlane SAS. Sometimes, users decide to uninstall this program. Sometimes this is easier said than done because deleting this manually requires some skill regarding removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE way to uninstall Dashlane is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around utility to maximize the performance of your Windows system.

• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with the program's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good Windows tool.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate Dashlane or simply click the Search field and type in "Dashlane". If it is installed on your PC the Dashlane app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Dashlane in the list of programs, some data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other people have regarding Dashlane, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Dashlane.


8. After uninstalling Dashlane, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Dashlane that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them.
