A way to delete DS from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DS is a program by Pelco. Some users decide to uninstall it. This can be efortful because performing this by hand requires some skill regarding Windows internal functioning. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall DS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your system.

• download the setup by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs existing on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate DS or simply activate the Search feature and type in "DS". If it exists on your system the DS program will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select DS in the list , some data about the program is shown to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about DS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for DS:

• The publisher is: www.Pelco.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{566cbcb9-4719-4302-8515-4246eebc23ca}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove DS.


8. After uninstalling DS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong DS which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing DS with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
