A guide to uninstall DS from your PC

This web page is about DS for Windows. Note that you might receive a notification for admin rights. DS's main file takes around 207.50 KB (212480 bytes) and its name is DSControlPoint.exe.

How to remove DS from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

DS is a program offered by the software company Pelco. Some computer users try to uninstall this application. Sometimes this is difficult because performing this manually requires some skill related to removing Windows programs manually. One of the best SIMPLE practice to uninstall DS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows PC.

• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find DS or simply click the Search field and type in "DS". If it is installed on your PC the DS application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you select DS in the list , some data about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have about DS, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

For example you can see that for DS:

• The publisher is: www.Pelco.com
• The uninstall string is: MsiExec.exe /I{c9706dcb-91e0-47f1-8ac4-9e6a45593112}

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove DS.


8. After removing DS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of DS that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling DS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows system will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
