A guide to uninstall CryptoPrevent from your computer

CryptoPrevent is a Windows application. If you are manually uninstalling CryptoPrevent we advise you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Foolish IT\CryptoPrevent

Generally, the following files remain on disk:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Foolish IT\CryptoPrevent\CryptoPrevent.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following data will not be removed; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to uninstall CryptoPrevent from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CryptoPrevent is an application by Foolish IT LLC. Sometimes, computer users choose to remove this application. Sometimes this can be easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some know-how related to PCs. The best QUICK manner to remove CryptoPrevent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows computer.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CryptoPrevent or simply click the Search feature and type in "CryptoPrevent". If it is installed on your PC the CryptoPrevent application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click CryptoPrevent in the list of programs, the following information about the application is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about CryptoPrevent, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

For instance you can see that for CryptoPrevent:

• The web site of the program is: www.foolishit.com
• The uninstall string is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Foolish IT\CryptoPrevent\unins000.exe

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CryptoPrevent.


8. After uninstalling CryptoPrevent, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CryptoPrevent which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing CryptoPrevent using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
