How to erase CrashPlan from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CrashPlan is an application marketed by Code 42 Software. Sometimes, computer users want to uninstall this application. This can be easier said than done because uninstalling this by hand requires some skill related to PCs. One of the best QUICK practice to uninstall CrashPlan is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and all around utility to clean your Windows system.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful program.

3. Click on the General Tools button

4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications existing on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CrashPlan or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CrashPlan". The CrashPlan app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select CrashPlan in the list of apps, some data about the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about CrashPlan, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Technical information about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall CrashPlan.

8. After removing CrashPlan, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of CrashPlan which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing CrashPlan using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or directories are left behind on your disk.

Your system will remain clean, speedy and able to take on new tasks.
