CX-Server has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall CX-Server:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OMRON\CX-Server
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server

The files below are left behind on your disk by CX-Server's application uninstaller when you removed it:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server\CDMDDE.EXE
• C:\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server\CDMIMPRT.EXE
• C:\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server\CDMPLC.DAT
• C:\Program Files (x86)\OMRON\CX-Server\cdmstats.exe

Generally the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.cdm
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{98997491-DA1A-466F-8CA4-859B9F8B4201}
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{AF3B0F9A-E8EF-4AB1-82C4-65C725AD9FCB}
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{EA2AD7E6-3AF2-4B42-94FD-490F9DEBD417}

Additional values that you should remove:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cdmfile\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cdmfile\Shell\Edit\Command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{1E4FB44E-D416-4243-B811-8E116F9CE39A}\InProcServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{214B1469-98CD-41AD-BDB5-F109743D875A}\InprocServer32\

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate CX-Server or simply activate the Search field and type in "CX-Server". If it exists on your system the CX-Server application will be found automatically. After you click CX-Server in the list of applications, some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about CX-Server, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall CX-Server.


8. After removing CX-Server, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong CX-Server which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
