A guide to uninstall CX-Server from your PC

If you are manually uninstalling CX-Server we recommend you to verify if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Directories found on disk:

• C:\Program Files\OMRON\CX-Server
• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\OMRON\CX-Server
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\CX-Programmer_for_CP1E_Trial_Version\CX-Programmer_for_CP1E_Trial\cx-server

Check for and delete the following files from your disk when you uninstall CX-Server:

• C:\Program Files\OMRON\CX-Server\CDMDDE.EXE
• C:\Program Files\OMRON\CX-Server\CDMIMPRT.EXE
• C:\Program Files\OMRON\CX-Server\CDMPLC.DAT
• C:\Program Files\OMRON\CX-Server\cdmstats.exe

Usually the following registry keys will not be uninstalled:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.cdm
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{0C88BE0F-22AC-4ABA-8A2F-120687404288}
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{213C6116-9D07-4D08-8732-D3739CDCEFA5}
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{2963B6E4-67EA-11D6-8CBA-00105A984AF3}

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cdmfile\DefaultIcon\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\cdmfile\Shell\Edit\Command\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{075B4495-B6E8-11D3-8612-005004606465}\InprocServer32\
• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{075B4499-B6E8-11D3-8612-005004606465}\InprocServer32\

A way to remove CX-Server from your PC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CX-Server is an application released by OMRON Corporation. Frequently, people try to remove this application. This can be efortful because uninstalling this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY approach to remove CX-Server is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around tool to optimize your computer.

• download the program by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire the program's interface and wealth of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very good package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find CX-Server or simply click the Search field and type in "CX-Server". If it is installed on your PC the CX-Server application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select CX-Server in the list of programs, some data about the program is available to you:

• Star rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have about CX-Server, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the program you are about to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove CX-Server.


8. After removing CX-Server, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong CX-Server which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling CX-Server using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.
