A guide to uninstall CAM from your PC

CAM is a Windows program. Read below about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows version was created by NZXT. Further information on NZXT can be found here. CAM is commonly set up in the C:\Program Files (x86)\NZXT\CAM folder, subject to the user's option. The entire uninstall command line for CAM is MsiExec.exe /I{12ABAC05-9477-4A48-B4D2-C7E3ECCE9964}. The application's main executable file is named CAM_Client.exe and occupies 7.35 MB (7703016 bytes).

CAM has the habit of leaving behind some leftovers.

Files remaining:

• C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\CAM\CAM.lnk
• C:\Users\%user%\Desktop\CAM.lnk
• C:\Program Files (x86)\NZXT\CAM\CAM_Client.exe

Generally the following registry keys will not be removed:

• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{12ABAC05-9477-4A48-B4D2-C7E3ECCE9964}

Additional registry values that you should clean:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache\D:\Program Files (x86)\NZXT\CAM\CAM_Client.exe.FriendlyAppName
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{12ABAC05-9477-4A48-B4D2-C7E3ECCE9964}\InstallLocation
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\WinRing0_1_2_0\ImagePath

A way to erase CAM from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

CAM is an application released by NZXT. Frequently, people decide to erase it. This can be difficult because deleting this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning. The best EASY solution to erase CAM is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and all around utility to optimize your system.

• navigate to Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Press the General Tools category


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CAM or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CAM". The CAM program will be found very quickly. After you click CAM in the list , the following information about the program is made available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have about CAM, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the application you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will come up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall CAM.


8. After removing CAM, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of CAM that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CAM using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your computer.

Your Windows PC will remain clean, speedy and able to serve you properly.
