When you're planning to uninstall Bitwarden you should check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

Folders that were left behind:

The files below are left behind on your disk by Bitwarden's application uninstaller when you removed it:

Use regedit.exe to manually remove from the Windows Registry the data below:

• HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\bitwarden
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{173a9bac-6f0d-50c4-8202-4744c69d091a}

Open regedit.exe to delete the values below from the Windows Registry:

A way to delete Bitwarden using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Bitwarden is an application offered by the software company 8bit Solutions LLC. Some users decide to erase it. This can be difficult because performing this by hand requires some advanced knowledge related to PCs. One of the best EASY practice to erase Bitwarden is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is an efficient uninstaller and all around utility to take care of your Windows system.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Activate the Uninstall Programs tool


5. All the programs installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you locate Bitwarden or simply activate the Search field and type in "Bitwarden". The Bitwarden application will be found automatically. Notice that when you click Bitwarden in the list of apps, the following data regarding the program is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding Bitwarden, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the app you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Bitwarden.


8. After removing Bitwarden, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of Bitwarden that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Bitwarden with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your disk.
