How to uninstall BitTorrent from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BitTorrent is a program released by the software company BitTorrent, Inc. Some computer users decide to remove this application. This is easier said than done because uninstalling this manually requires some skill related to Windows internal functioning. One of the best QUICK procedure to remove BitTorrent is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your PC, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your computer.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • install Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to get familiar with the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful package of tools.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. A list of the applications installed on your PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate BitTorrent or simply click the Search feature and type in "BitTorrent". If it exists on your system the BitTorrent app will be found automatically. Notice that when you click BitTorrent in the list of apps, some information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other users have regarding BitTorrent, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically remove BitTorrent.
