A way to remove BearShare from your PC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BearShare is an application released by Free Peers, Inc.. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove it. 1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, add it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general utility to clean your Windows computer.

3. Press the General Tools button

5. All the applications installed on your computer will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find BearShare or simply activate the Search feature and type in "BearShare". If it is installed on your PC the BearShare program will be found very quickly. When you click BearShare in the list of programs, some information regarding the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding BearShare, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall BearShare.

8. After uninstalling BearShare, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items that belong BearShare that have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BearShare with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
